July 3, 2009 — Though I was living in Bloomington at the time, I do remember this story. It even appeared in the Herald and Indy’s papers. If you’ve been watching the news at all, then you know that Donny mysteriously reappeared and then died. Branham’s office is still sorting out that one. I have my theories. I’ve seen some pretty nasty stuff over the past year.
Like I said, I’m just now putting it all together. This town is a major circus of reporters, spooks, and new agers. Shortly after Jackson and I moved here last August, I got a call from the pastor of one of the churches here in town — he and John Thundercloud figured Jackson and I would ‘understand’. Boy, howdy.
There’s so much more to tell now, but Miguel and I want to put down the basics — in order — to make sense out of it all. I’m up to my elbows in autopsies. Not much time.
More later. — Maggie

It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that the town’s most stalwart woman warrior died today. Better to say the truth–that she was killed. Had a heart like a hammer that one. Wish I could attend her funeral–if there is one. Cissy Adamson isn’t likely to want her remains to ‘be available’ like so many before her. (That poor kid from Eden High–the one who died last fall. Yeah. His parents should have cremated him. Tragic. Monkey boy.)
Jean Davis told me Cissy might be cremated asap. I sent a note to Joshua Carpenter about it. He’s ok. I don’t think the boy realizes yet that he’s on the front lines.
The two Eden high kids that went missing week are the latest to ‘go missing’ here. More genetics. More experiments. Another big baby born in the next county over. That makes three there, seven here in Eden, and I hear there are four or five down in Kentucky. The caverns connect it all.
My nurse just pulled up. What’s she doing here on a Friday? More later.
